Join us in Academy Field for stories, songs, and movement! This storytime will be aimed at kids ages 0 - 2, but all ages are welcome. Miss Melissa will usually be set up in the back of the field on top of the hill in the shade. Bring a blanket or towel to sit on and enjoy!

Join us to explore the intersection of poetry and visual art through a fun craft! Students will make collages and use them to guide their own concrete poems. Take home your work mounted on mat board for display. Snacks will be provided!

Chrystal Mars Baker of the Tomaquag Museum will present a program focusing on the tradition of Basket Stamping. Decorating splint baskets with beautiful designs stamped onto the sides of the baskets is a traditional art form indigenous to the tribes of Southern New England.

Join Judi Jones aka ENERGIZER for a musically fueled interactive Hoop Dancing (hula hooping) program. Dancin’ with Hoops blends creative movement, dance, exercise, self expression and cooperative play. All for the FUN of it. Hula hoops will be provided for use. Following, Judi will delight you with a high energy and comedic hula hoop performance.
