Chrystal Mars Baker of the Tomaquag Museum will present a program focusing on the tradition of Basket Stamping. Decorating splint baskets with beautiful designs stamped onto the sides of the baskets is a traditional art form indigenous to the tribes of Southern New England.
Come join us as we learn more about basket making in indigenous communities and create our own stamping designs!
